About
  • As a Registered Dietitian with 33 years of experience, I look at health from an holistic perspective recognizing that no one part of our body operates in isolation from the others and our environment influences how our bodies function. I practice with Integrative and Functional Nutrition lense that looks at not only reducing symptoms of disease but also addressing the root causes and restoring balance -supporting optimal cellular function. I believe in using a Food First Approach to wellness and believe that there is a wide range of foods and diets that can be considered healthy. Each one of us is individual in terms of the factors contributing to our health. There is no one diet that works for everyone. I can help you navigate the ocean of nutrition information and help you develop a nutrition plan of action to optimize your health. Interesting Facts

I have personally followed a LCHF/ketogenic diet over the past 1.5 years and have been able reduce many of my inflammatory disease risk markers with this approach. I see so many people in the general public that are looking towards ketogenic diets as purely a weight loss tool- It can be a very effective therapeutic intervention for people with cardiometabolic and inflammatory diseases. There are few practitioners out there that are educated about LCHF/Ketogenic diets. As an RD with training in this area, I can help guide you through implementing a LCHF approach
