  • My name is Melanie and I have a passion to help you improve your food & nutrition to improve your mood and feel your best.  I help women aged 35-65 who struggle with weight loss and emotional eating to transform their relationship with food and be in control of their eating so they can lose unwanted weight while maintaining lean muscle, eliminate feelings of guilt and shame from overeating and feel confident and comfortable in their clothes. I help you build healthy habits towards your healthy weight goals with mindful eating and tuning into your hunger and fullness cues.

     

    I help men and women make empowered choices with self awareness, mindset shift and personalized meal planning to achieve sustainable weight loss without giving up chocolate and supporting you in weekly accountability.  What sets me apart from other programs is that I take a whole person approach and help you implement long lasting behaviour change.

     

    I am excited to share strategies from the Craving Change Inc. program to help you overcome emotional, boredom and stress eating. Understand why, what, when and how your eating affects your mood and food choices!

     

    I help women over age 40 feel fit and fabulous and have nutrition recommendations for women's health and hormones such as PCOS and thyroid disorders. I can also help men and women achieve their healthy weight and fitness goals or to fuel active lifestyles in sports nutrition.  I also work with people who want to improve their heart health, blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, liver and gut health.  I can help you navigate foods to manage IBS, IBD and diverticular disease.  I am your nutrition expert if you require a gluten free diet for Celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. If you are living with cancer, have trouble swallowing, or have a neurological disorder impacting your quality of life, we can come up with food and meal solutions that work for you.

Interesting Facts

I love to be active outdoors everyday; Whether it is sitting and smelling the flowers or walking or biking to enjoy the scenery. I have three healthy children and we enjoy mountain biking and camping in the summer or skating and snowmobiling in the winter. Sharing tasty and colourful recipes satisfied me!
