About
  • Hello. My name is Lisa. I am a Registered Dietitian and avid runner. My decision to become a dietitian that specializes in sports, eating disorders and disordered eating stems from my passion to help people, my love of running and seeing the impact that one's relationship with food has on their health.

Nutritional information can be difficult to understand. When you factor in how proper nutrition can affect your performance as an athlete and how to apply this to an already busy schedule, it can quickly become overwhelming. I understand because I have been there! From my completion of the IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition and my personal experience in training, I can help translate this information in a way that makes sense to you by providing realistic and sustainable recommendations.

The relationship a person has with their food and body can impact their overall wellbeing and health. One's relationship with food and their body can vary and does not always have to diagnosed as an eating disorder. My hope is to help people repair this relationship together in an empathic, understanding and compassionate way. I have taken several eating disorders courses for dietitians to ensure I am qualified and capable of helping individuals struggling in this area. As well, I currently work with eating disorder clients apart from my private practice.

Overall, my hope is that clients leave each session feeling heard, excited and empowered to take what they have learnt and apply it in a way that will meet their goals.
