This workshop will provide you with a basic understanding of the Chinese culture and key considerations when working with this population as a registered dietitian. You will become more familiar with key ingredients and can suggest culturally appropriate food options and behavioral changes for your clients to reach their goals.

-Learn about the Chinese culture, way of eating and traditional foods and what that looks like in Canada and North America
-Learn key ingredients, similarities and differences to the Western culture
-Join us for a hands-on food demo to cook with and taste some common Chinese ingredients
-Learn the key considerations when working with the Chinese population in nutrition counselling (ie. seniors, diabetes, heart health, picky eating, eating disorders etc)
