About
  • Hey there! I'm Soleina, Registered Dietitian and mom of two toddlers. I have worked for nearly a decade as a pediatric dietitian at BC Children's Hospital and have focused my career on infant toddler and feeding.

My practice is based on a holistic, evidence-based approach to ensure the whole family is nourished. As a mom of two completely different feeders, I empathize with the stress and uncertainty of navigating feeding during this life stage. My goal when working with families is to support parents to feel confident in their child’s feeding abilities and growth and to help make mealtimes more enjoyable!

I offer in-home (North Vancouver, Vancouver, Burnaby, Tri-Cities or Richmond), in-clinic (South Surrey) or virtual (across BC) consults.

    My practice areas include:

    • Starting solids
      • Choking vs. gagging
      • Baby-led weaning vs. puree feeding
      • Optimization of nutrition
      • Navigating allergens or introducing allergens when baby already has an allergy
      • Common infant feeding concerns e.g. difficulty advancing textures, gagging, poor intake
      • Creating a positive mealtime environment
    • Infant and Toddler Feeding Transitions
      • Picky or selective eating
      • Growth or nutrition concerns
      • Transitioning off breast/bottle to more solids
      • Challenges when feeding toddlers e.g. limited solid food intake, challenges transitioning to new textures, limited variety in the diet, food refusal, mealtime struggles, or challenging mealtime behaviours (e.g. spitting, throwing).

I'd love to meet you and support you and your little one to have happier mealtimes. Book a Free 15-minute Discovery Call to see if I might be a good fit for your family.
