About
  • My approach to nutrition is grounded in evidence - but also real life. I'm passionate about helping people find freedom from food shame by looking critically at our food systems, diet culture, and the many things that influence how we eat.

    My areas of interest are:

    - Eating Disorders and disordered eating

    - Ditching diet culture

    - Teens/Youth and neurodiverse folks

    - Weight-inclusive/HAES/anti-diet approaches

I believe in eating for your soul, treating your body with kindness, and questioning the nutrition 'rules' we've been taught. My goal is to help you feel more at ease with food - and yourself - without shame, pressure, or perfection.

Expect me to ask about your favorite foods, the foods you don't enjoy, and the foods you only eat because you feel like you 'should'!

Interesting Facts

I grew up on the East coast in Labrador and am grateful to live in a similarly northern and rural community (but with mountains!). I am a collector of hobbies, an advocate for equitable and socially just health care, and my husband is a chef!
