A Taste of My Journey
While my career is anchored in evidence-based nutrition, my approach to health has always been flavoured by a deep love for the culinary arts.
My background includes a diploma in Culinary Management from Humber College, and I have used those skills in some pretty unique ways: I’ve competed in provincial cooking competitions, taught diabetes-friendly cooking classes, fueled cyclists on a cross-country tour from Vancouver to St. John’s, and even had the honor of cooking for royalty at Rideau Hall.
I bring this same "chef’s mindset" to my practice today. For me, nutrition isn't just about the numbers; it’s about understanding the craft of food so we can make healthy, sustainable choices that you actually want to eat.
