  • Elizabeth completed a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Western Ontario, graduating with honours. She completed a Masters of Health Science and later a Dietetic Internship at North York General Hospital in Ontario. She is a Registered Dietitian with both The College of Dietitians of Ontario and The College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Elizabeth has experience working in the public healthcare system, working in various clinical areas including  intensive care, cardiovascular health, diabetes, oncology, gastrointestinal health and mental health (including eating disorders). She founded Journey to Health with the vision of bringing nutrition counselling and psychotherapy together, to support individuals in achieving mind-body wellness. 

    Elizabeth's passion for mind and body wellness helped her create Journey to Health, a private practice that supports individuals through therapy and nutrition support. As the director of the business, Elizabeth supports other clinicians in developing and growing their skills in nutrition and eating disorder support. Alongside this role, Elizabeth also supports individuals with various mental health condition, including eating disorders. She works from a trauma-informed, and weight-inclusive approach, knowing that everybody is capable of achieving their own definition of health and wellness without focusing on their weight or size. 

    Elizabeth has extensive experience in supporting individuals who struggle with eating disorders and disordered eating, practicing in this area for over 10 years. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient eating disorder hospital programs, supporting individuals of all ages. She has worked with hundreds of individuals with various types of eating disorders, including long-standing or severe and enduring eating disorders (SEED). 

    Elizabeth is passionate about helping others – this passion and her experience are evident in her practice and interactions with clients. Her caring and dedicated approach encourages a comfortable, supportive environment for clients, as she works with them to navigate their journey to wellness.
